Fellowship Overview

The Willis Knighton Health, in collaboration with the Department of Oral & Craniomaxillofacial Surgery, offers a 24-month post-residency fellowship designed to provide advanced, comprehensive training in the full scope of craniomaxillofacial surgery.

Structure:

  • Year 1: Junior Fellow

Under the directorship of Dr. G. E. Ghali, this fellowship provides exposure to a high-volume surgical practice encompassing congenital and acquired conditions. Fellows will manage complex craniofacial deformities, including primary cleft lip and palate repair, as well as advanced cases requiring transcranial or skull base approaches. Training also includes comprehensive management of head and neck tumors, incorporating ablative procedures, robotic surgery (TORS), endocrine surgery, and microvascular reconstruction.

The fellowship integrates multidisciplinary collaboration through participation in Craniofacial/Cleft Teams and Head & Neck Tumor Boards, ensuring a robust academic and clinical experience.
