Dr. Ross D. Brockman, DMD, MD

Excited to call Shreveport home and provide exceptional care, Ross Brockman, DMD, MD, performs complex surgeries to treat delicate conditions of the mouth, head and neck. He specializes in the treatment of

  • Salivary gland pathology
  • Facial trauma
  • Oral and facial soft tissue and skeleton conditions
  • Sleep apnea surgery
  • Temporomandibular joint surgery
  • Malignant and benign pathology of the head and neck
  • Reconstructive surgery for cleft and craniofacial deformities

Following in the footsteps of his father who is a dentist, Dr. Brockman went to dental school at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Florida. He became interested in dental surgery when he broke his upper jaw and knocked out his front teeth. While in dental school, an externship in Shreveport inspired Dr. Brockman to pursue his medical degree at LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Medicine and residency training in maxillofacial surgery at the same location. He completed a craniomaxillofacial surgery fellowship at Willis Knighton Health, with a special interest in reconstruction surgeries for cleft lips and palates and defects created during removal of oral, head and neck cancers.

He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS).

Away from the clinic, Dr. Brockman enjoys fishing, barbecuing, and spending time with his wife, Alexandra, and their daughter.
